Fall Wedding Inspiration: Behind the Scenes of mywedding The Magazine

myweddingdotcom-7

There are many things to love about fall weddings. This is an idea that we explore in many different ways in our brand new issue of mywedding The Magazine — and one that culminates in this stunning, slightly whimsical fall wedding inspiration shoot. Designed and styled by M Starr Event Design and photographed by Hello Love Photography, this romantic shoot takes on traditional inspiration with a twist, pulling from a book titled The Language of Flowers to incorporate unique details like hand-wrapped loaves of bread and exquisite menus complete with calligraphy and real flowers. We hope you enjoy this sneak peek — and don’t forget to click through the full feature in Volume IV of mywedding The Magazine for even more ideas and inspiration!

Can we just talk about this bouquet for a second? One of our favorite parts of the shoot (and the feature!) was the actual dictionary of flowers that Emily from M Starr Events helped create. Each flower has its own meaning, or language, and we got to talk about which flowers were included in this bouquet and then share some of the definitions that go along with them. Even more reason to check out the complete feature, if you ask us!

Those laser-cut wood escort tags are another favorite detail. We love the way they incorporate calligraphy in a new, unique part of the decor.

Last, but not least: the behind the scenes video straight from the pages of mywedding The Magazine. Take two minutes and see just how this shoot came to life.
